He found great solace in the constant care and support that he, Margaret and John received from them and the knowledge that this care would be continued. Special thanks to mum, Helen, Wayne, Victoria, Phil, Cormac, Niamh, Dan, Sarah, Oak, Carmel, Ian and Anthony. Thank you to everyone for the masses, flowers, cards, messages of sympathy and generous donations to Cancer Research UK. They would also like to thank Joan, Sheila, St Mary's choir, Margaret's Godson Anthony for playing the organ, the parishioners whose masses and prayers during Ian's illness was a source of great comfort to them. Thank you to those who attended the Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Father John Broadley and Father Frank Downs. Thanks also to the District Nurses, Macmillan Nurses and Paul Roberts the undertaker for his kindness and efficiency. It has been heart warming for them to realise the esteem in which Ian was held by so many people. The love and support they have received has made the most distressing times a little more bearable.
